This is the most recent book
I finished. I read Katie's first book Kisses from Katie several years
ago after hearing SO much about it. I enjoyed her book very much, so
when I saw Daring to Hope, I jumped at the chance to get a free copy
through blogging for books. (I occasionally use this site to get free
books to read and review – if you're a fellow blogger, check it
out!) This book arrived just before our wedding, and I only read a
few pages. Surprisingly, it was the first book I reached for once we
were settled in and I had time to read again. There were a few days
this past month that I just didn't want to put this book down! Even
though I may not agree 100% with everything, there is something about
Katie's lifestyle and her relationship and walk with God that is very
inspiring, even motivating. The lifestyle she has chosen is one that
is full of joys and sorrows – and so much different from what we
know here in America. What she writes is open and real – and she
truly shares her heart in the pages of both of her books. This book
brought both tears to my eyes and joy to my heart as I read it. If
you enjoyed Katie's first book, you will love this one as well.
